Ana Mirete

Ana Mirete has a diverse work experience in the translation and localization industry. Ana started their career as an intern at Soundub, Sonorización y Doblajes S.L, where they gained experience as an audiovisual translator. Later, they interned at QUICKSILVER MULTILINGUAL SOLUTIONS LLCAud, focusing on audiovisual translation. Ana then worked at CBG as a Project Assistant and later as a Project Administrator, managing translation projects involving multiple languages and overseeing the translation process. Currently, Ana is working at Welocalize, where they have held various roles including Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and is currently serving as the Operations Squad Lead. In their current role, they lead a cross-functional team, defines objectives, measures progress, and delivers client solutions while monitoring financial and operational metrics.

Ana Mirete has a Master's degree in Audiovisual Translation from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, which they obtained from 2013 to 2014. Ana also has a Licentiate degree in Translation and Interpreting from the Universitat Jaume I, completed from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, Ana has studied at Lessius Hogeschool Antwerpen in the field of Translation and Interpreting from 2009 to 2010. Ana holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge, obtained in 2012, and has also achieved a TOEFL iBT score of 111.
