Fernando Migone

Fernando Migone, PhD, currently serves as the Vice President of Research and Innovation at Welocalize, a role promoted to expand the scope of Welo Data and the parent company. Previously, Fernando held the position of Vice President of Transformation at Welocalize, where responsibilities included building the Welo Data business unit focused on model evaluation and reinforcement learning. Prior to Welocalize, Fernando was Vice President of Business Development at TELUS Digital, overseeing significant accounts and revenue growth, and had roles at Scale AI, Defined.ai, and ZEISS Microscopy, excelling in client management and sales growth. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a Master’s in Reproductive Biology from Cornell University and a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Sciences from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
