Richard Smith is an accomplished recruitment professional currently serving as the Managing Director for the Middle East and North Africa at Salt since July 2015. With extensive experience in the recruitment industry, Richard previously held the position of Managing Partner at Newstar Recruitment from August 2013 to July 2015, where Richard was instrumental in establishing client relationships and delivering candidates for digital and creative roles, particularly in Dubai. Prior to this, Richard worked at SThree plc in various managerial roles, leading teams focused on the financial services and technology sectors. Richard's career began at The Southwestern Company as an Organisation Leader. Richard holds an MBA from Aston University and a BSc in Economics from the University of Birmingham.
