Julia Witte

Julia Witte is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in various editorial roles. Beginning her career as a Freie Journalistin at FUNKE from August 2004 to November 2009, Julia continued to develop her skills as Pressesprecherin at Sozialbehörde from December 2009 to September 2011. Julia held a Redakteurin position at BILD from May 2013 to April 2015 and later worked as a Freie Journalistin for BILD, Welt, and Hamburger Abendblatt from October 2011 to April 2013. Most recently, Julia served as Managing Editor at Welt from January 2024 to December 2023. Julia holds a Diplom-Journalistin degree in Journalism and Catholic Theology from Technische Universität Dortmund, where studies began in 2002 and are ongoing, with an additional Diplom in Journalism.
