Tomas Widfeldt

Material engineer at Wematter

Tomas Widfeldt has worked in various roles over the years. From 2012 to 2016, they worked at McDonald's as a Handledare/medarbetare, where they were involved in the daily operations of the restaurant, with varied tasks. Tomas was later trained to be a supervisor, which included training and introducing new employees to their work. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at Biltema as a Butiksmedarbetare, where they rotated between different areas, either working with merchandise in a store section or working at a cash register. Tomas was also responsible for solving minor problems and managing daily orders of fresh goods and larger orders of primary products. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Region Östergötland as a Medicintekniker, where they were part of a group responsible for maintaining imaging equipment. Their role included handling test equipment and acting as a link between the clinic and the supplier. Finally, since 2019, they have been working at Wematter as a Material engineer, where they are part of the development team and focuses on developing the performance and quality of the SLS 3D-printer. Their role includes working with different plastic powdered materials and their printing settings in order to reach the full potential of the 3D printing system.

Tomas Widfeldt obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Linköping University between 2014 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Gymnasieexamen in Naturvetenskap from Ebersteinska Gymnasium between 2009 and 2012.
