Mark Petersen

Mark Petersen is a seasoned Senior Electrical Designer with extensive experience in the power generation sector. Currently employed at Stantec since January 2021 following the acquisition of Wenck, Mark has held the same title at Wenck since August 2019. Prior to that, Mark worked at Wood and Zachry Group in similar senior design roles, contributing to the development of two 100mw Biomass Power Plants and participating in the design of various power generation facilities. Mark's earlier experience includes electrical design for retail and commercial clients at Karges-Faulconbridge, Inc., and roles in debt collection supervision and electrical drafting. Mark holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Mechanical Drafting from Hennepin Technical College and North Hennepin Community College.
