Amir Balaish

Amir Balaish has a diverse work experience. Amir started in 2009 as a Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University, where they taught Digital Logic Systems and Wave Transmission and Lines courses. In 2012, they joined Unit 8200 - Israeli Intelligence Corps as a Technological Team Leader and Software Researcher, and was released as a Lieutenant in June 2014. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Lead Data Scientist at Cognigo, which was later acquired by NetApp. Amir was the first employee at Cognigo and was responsible for building the product's AI technology from scratch. Most recently, they were the Co-Founder & CEO of Wenrix, a next-generation airfare prediction and optimization platform.

Amir Balaish obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University in 2011, after studying from 2007 to 2011. Amir then went on to obtain their Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University in 2012.
