Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Wenrix

Robert Brown has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Robert started their career in 2001 as the European Director for Netcentives Inc, where they were responsible for creating and implementing a European strategy for the company. Robert then served as the CEO of 4D Trading from 2001 to 2003. After that, they worked as the Managing Director at GL Trade from 2003 to 2007.

In 2007, Robert joined BGC Partners as the SMD/Global Head of eBusiness Integration until 2012. During this time, they were instrumental in driving the integration of eBusiness solutions within the company. Following their tenure at BGC Partners, they became a member of 1871, a hub for technology and entrepreneurship, from 2012 to 2017.

In 2012, Robert founded Options Away, a travel agency solutions provider that introduced innovative concepts from the financial industry. Under their leadership, the company developed and launched the TripLock solution, which enabled customers to secure flight prices while finalizing their travel plans. Options Away was later acquired by Hopper in 2018.

From 2016 to 2019, Robert served as an Advisory Board Member for Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection. In 2018, they joined Travelport as the GVP and Managing Director of OTA/Enterprise, where they were responsible for building and expanding the company's Online Travel Agency business. Robert managed a global team and had full P&L responsibility for a $400M portfolio of business until March 2023.

In 2023, Robert took on the role of Strategic Advisor at Fuse Technologies, an embedded fintech solution company. Robert provided guidance and expertise to empower creators and organizers to sell tickets and other travel experiences in a single transaction. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Wenrix, a next-generation airfare prediction and optimization company.

Robert Brown obtained a BSc in Computer Science from Western University, where they studied from 1987 to 1990. Subsequently, they pursued an MBA and an Executive MBA in Business from the London Business School, completing their studies in 2001.
