Simon Ludwig

Simon Ludwig is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in financial data analysis and controlling. Currently, Simon has been serving as a Financial Data Analyst and Financial Controller at WEPA since April 2017, focusing on monthly closing processes, inventory valuation of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods, as well as forecasting and budgeting alongside business intelligence projects. Prior to this role, from July 2014 to March 2017, Simon worked as a Controller at Stadtwerke Brilon Energie GmbH, where responsibilities included establishing corporate controlling for the energy and water sectors, managing sales controlling, cost and performance accounting, and financial planning. Simon successfully led projects such as the establishment of an energy sales brand and the separation of independent business units. Earlier experience includes a position as a Regulatory Affairs Advisor at Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall, where Simon focused on compliance reporting under CRR/CRD 4 and implementing new reporting requirements and a Data Warehouse.
