Marisa Chan

Marisa Chan started their work experience in 2013 as a Sales Associate at Lola Of North Beach. Marisa then moved on to become a School Aged Childcare Counselor at Associated Recreation Council in 2014. In 2017, they joined Madewell as a Sales Associate until 2020. From 2018 to 2019, Marisa worked as an Operations Intern at Modern Citizen. In 2019, they became a Development Assistant at the Anti-Defamation League until 2021. Currently, they are working as a Recruiting Coordinator at WePay.

Marisa Chan completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication and Media Studies at Seattle Pacific University, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. Before attending university, they graduated from Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory in 2012. In addition to their formal education, Marisa also obtained several certifications related to communication and inclusivity from LinkedIn in July 2021. The certifications they received include "Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues," "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences," "How to Support Colleagues From Underrepresented Groups," and "Inclusive Mindset for Committed Allies."
