Marcel Weichsel

Marcel Weichsel is an experienced SW Test Automation Engineer currently at Werfen since July 2021, specializing in software testing for hemostasis diagnostic instruments through both manual and automated methods. Previously, Marcel worked at IDNEO from June 2016 to July 2021 as a Medical Devices SW Test Engineer, focusing on software testing for Grifols' immunohematology diagnostic instruments. Marcel's career began at HP 3D Printing, where roles included R&D Mechanical Test Engineer and Test Activities Lead, managing lab resources, leading testing efforts for mechanical systems, and developing systems and algorithms to enhance product functionality. Marcel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Master's Degree in Project Management from UPC School.
