Marcos Borrell, PhD, is the Chief Operating Officer at Werfen Immunoassay, bringing extensive expertise in functional management across research, development, program management, and manufacturing operations. They have held significant leadership roles at Allergan, including Director of Product Development and Director of Engineering & Technology, where they drove innovation in the medical device sector. At Hologic, they served as Vice President of Global Research & Development, shaping strategy for the Diagnostic Solutions Division. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
