Sílvia Casas

Sílvia Casas, PhD MSc MBA, is a seasoned professional in the healthcare industry with over 15 years of experience in Medical Affairs and Business Development, primarily in the exUS market. Sílvia's expertise includes medical communication, medical data generation, and product strategy for pre- and post-launch phases, with a focus on transplant, immunology, and autoimmune diseases. Currently, Sílvia serves as the Medical Director for Transplant at Werfen, following roles as Senior Medical Director and Director of Medical Education at CareDx, Inc. Earlier in their career, Sílvia held various positions in cytogenetic technology and conducted postdoctoral research in diabetes at prestigious institutions such as the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and the University of Cambridge. Sílvia earned a PhD in Onco-Haematology and an Executive MBA while also obtaining a Medical Science Liaison certification.
