Yan Li

Yan Li has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Yan started their career as an Associate Researcher at Microsoft Research Asia in 1999 and worked there until 2002. Afterwards, they joined Microsoft as an Applied Researcher and worked there from 2009 until 2012. Yan then moved on to Facebook as a Software Engineer from 2012 to 2015. Following that, Yan joined Ucar Technology Inc. as a Software Engineer for two years. Currently, they hold the position of CTO and Co-Founder at WeRide.ai since April 2017.

Yan Li earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University in 1997. Yan then pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, which they completed in 1999. After that, they attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2002 to 2008 for their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
