Dario Telese

Dario Telese, Ph.D., is an accomplished chemist with extensive experience in drug design and synthetic chemistry. Currently serving as Lead Chemist at Porton Pharma Solutions Ltd., Dario specializes in route scouting and developing synthetic processes for active pharmaceutical ingredients, alongside coordinating a technical team. Previous roles include Guest PhD student at the University of Copenhagen, where Dario focused on low-temperature electrocyclic ring opening reactions, and Laboratory Responsable at Special Carbon Products, overseeing the synthesis and production of carbon-based derivatives. Additionally, Dario has served as an Academic Tutor at the University of Bologna and has completed internships focusing on synthesizing compounds with potential biomedical applications. Dario holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, a Master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field, all from the University of Bologna.
