Matteo Mangili

Matteo Mangili is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in travel writing, human resources, and event management. Since December 2017, Matteo has served as an author for Lonely Planet, focusing on the writing and editing of travel guides, including firsthand site visits to various destinations. Matteo also coordinates travel for WeRoad, beginning in December 2019. Prior to these roles, Matteo worked at Ansaldo STS, a Hitachi Group Company, from March 2010 to August 2017, where responsibilities included managing expatriate programs, overseeing global performance and development processes, and leading recruitment efforts. Earlier career experiences comprise an internship as a journalist at Primocanale and a team manager position in touristic entertainment at GSAclub. Matteo holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Università degli Studi di Genova and a high school diploma in Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics.
