Amit S. has an extensive work experience in sales and business development, particularly in the defense and aviation industry. Amit has held several leadership positions, including Defence Sales Director at Wescom Group, where they played a key role in developing and implementing the sales strategy. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Sales at WING Group, where they focused on penetrating global markets and doubling revenue.
Amit also held the position of Sales Manager & Regional Head of Sales (APAC) - Defence and Aviation at Survitec Group Ltd, where they successfully managed and delivered against an annual order intake budget. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Consulting Team Manager at Human Recognition Systems, where they were responsible for introducing solutions/products in existing and new markets.
Before entering the corporate world, Amit gained valuable experience as an Operations Manager while working as a self-employed individual. Amit also pursued their education at the University of Strathclyde, where they were a student.
Amit S. completed their education in two major stages. From 1989 to 1994, they attended RIMC, where they obtained a degree in HSSE. This period marked their initial steps in their educational journey. Later, in 2005 and 2006, Amit S. joined the University of Strathclyde to pursue an MBA degree, specializing in Strategy, Marketing, Operations, and Project Management. These studies reflect their interest in business, management, and related disciplines.
