Brent Simonis

Brent Simonis is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Board Member at the Group of 100 since July 2024 and as the Executive General Manager of Group Accounting, Risk and Assurance at Wesfarmers since August 2022. Previously, Brent held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Target Australia from February 2020 to August 2022 and served as CFO and Director at efm Logistics from May 2018 to February 2020. Brent's career includes significant roles at Coles, where responsibilities included Finance Director for Supermarkets, Acting Finance Director, and General Manager of Financial Control from July 2015 to May 2018. Additionally, Brent worked at Ernst & Young for over 16 years, achieving the role of Partner while managing complex client engagements. Early career experience also includes serving as Treasury Manager at Newcrest Mining. Brent holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Monash University and is a Chartered Accountant with the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
