Rani Kumar

Rani Kumar is an experienced professional in social policy and advocacy, currently serving as a Government Relations Advisor at Wesley Mission since April 2024. Previously, Rani held the position of Deputy CEO at NAPCAN from September 2022 to May 2024 and worked as a Social Policy Officer at Catch 22 National Care Advisory Service in 2011. Additional roles include Director of Policy and Research at SNAICC - National Voice for our Children, Early Education Policy Officer at UNICEF, Project Coordinator for the Just a Little Respect Relationship Violence Prevention Project at Rosie's Place Inc., and Social Enterprise Coordinator at The Salvation Army Australia. Rani has also served in various capacities at NAPCAN and the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Rani holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science with a focus on Economics and Social Policy from UNSW Australia, an Associate’s Degree in International Development Studies from the University of Sydney, and a Master's Degree in Gender and Cultural Studies from the University of Sydney.
