Daniel Buteyn

Daniel Buteyn, J.D. is an experienced acquisitions editor with a strong background in legal and publishing fields. Currently serving as an Acquisitions Editor at West Academic since May 2021, Daniel previously held the role of Associate Acquisitions Editor at the same company from February 2016 to August 2020. Prior to this, Daniel worked as a Law Clerk at Scott + Hespen Law, PLLC from August 2020 to May 2021. Daniel began their career in publishing as a Publishing Production Intern and later as a Publishing Specialist at West Academic. Daniel's early experiences include roles as an Editorial Services Intern at Allen Press, Inc. and as an Office Assistant at Wilson Law Group Minneapolis. Daniel holds a Juris Doctor degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, obtained in May 2022, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Kansas, completed in 2015.
