Jed Begin, RPFT, is currently the General Manager at Slave Lake Veneer. They previously held the role of General Manager at West Fraser in 2021, with earlier positions including Woodlands Manager, Operations Superintendent, and Forestry Supervisor. Jed started their career as a Foreman at X-4S Tree Rangers Inc. from 2001 to 2006. They completed a degree in Forest Technology at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2003.
