Max Yang

Max Yang is a dedicated healthcare professional and educator with extensive experience in public health, emergency medical services, and academic support. As a Public Health AmeriCorps Member at Sun River Health, Max enhanced the organization's capacity to serve underserved populations. Previous roles include serving as a Learning Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, conducting research as a Sociology Research Assistant and Research Assistant at Penn Medicine, and leading initiatives within the Penn Medical Emergency Response Team, achieving the highest clinical rank. Max's qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania and ongoing medical education at the same institution. Additionally, Max is actively involved in community outreach with Giving a Boost and has interned with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
