Ayele Dodoo

Ayele Dodoo currently serves as the Director of Educational Leadership and System Design at WestEd, focusing on expanding the organization's leadership development services nationwide. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Curriculum & Instruction for the Montebello Unified School District, where responsibilities involved setting curricular direction for secondary schools, revitalizing education in middle schools, and securing substantial grant funding. Ayele also worked as a Program Specialist at the Los Angeles County Office of Education, developing leadership models for education. Prior roles included clinical faculty and instructional coach at UCLA, as well as a history teacher and department chair in the Long Beach Unified School District. Ayele holds a Doctor of Education from UCLA, a Master's degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree from Stanford University.
