Dan Murphy

Dan Murphy is a Senior Research Associate at WestEd, a position held since August 2021. Prior to this role, Dan served as a Programmer at the Texas Education Agency from June 2016 to August 2021 and worked as a Research Scientist at Pearson from November 2007 to June 2016. Dan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained in 2009, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from Texas State University, completed in 1997, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, earned in 1984.
