Kate Wright

Kate Wright is a seasoned education professional currently serving as Senior Director of State Education Services and Director of the Region 15 Comprehensive Center at WestEd since March 2022. Wright has held various leadership roles, including Chief of Staff and Associate Superintendent at the Arizona Department of Education and Dean of Specialized Programs at the University of Phoenix. With extensive experience in both K-12 education and higher education, Wright has also worked as an Adjunct Faculty member at Grand Canyon University and has served in several positions at the Arizona Department of Education and Indian River School District. Wright holds a Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Salisbury University.
