Lisa King

Lisa King is a seasoned freelance writer, editor, proofreader, and project coordinator with extensive experience in educational content development. Since December 2011, Lisa has worked with The Research Masters on projects for prominent publishers including Jones & Bartlett Learning and Pearson. Currently serving as a K-6 Item Writer for WestEd, Lisa creates educational materials aligned with state standards. Additional roles include ELA Item Writer and Editor for Tighe, where Lisa ensures alignment with CCSS, and various positions involving item creation and editing for other educational organizations. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Buena Vista University.
