Peter Orne

Peter Orne has extensive experience in communications and content development, currently serving as a Web Content Writer and External Communications Lead at WestEd since February 2017. Previously, Peter worked as Communications Manager at Education Development Center, Inc., where responsibilities included enhancing the dissemination of federal education research and managing a substantial budget for impactful communication strategies. Peter has also held roles as Communications Lead for Interactive STEM initiatives, served as a dissemination expert for U.S. Department of Education contracts, and held various editorial positions, including Managing Editor of The WorldPaper and Editorial Manager at Wireless Internet Institute. Peter's educational background includes a Master’s in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s in English and Psychology from Wesleyan University, supplemented by ongoing studies at Harvard Extension School.
