Robert Salley

Robert Salley currently serves as the Chair of the Board of School Commissioners for Baltimore City Public Schools and as the Director at WestEd. With a diverse background in education and policy, previous roles include Fellow at the United States Senate and Program Officer at the U.S. Department of Education. Salley's experience also encompasses consultancy at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and leadership positions at Harvard Graduate School of Education and Education Pioneers. Education includes a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a Master's degree in Education from The Johns Hopkins University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
