Robin Chait

Robin Chait is a seasoned project director at WestEd since October 2018, overseeing client engagements, managing significant budgets, and leading a diverse team. Currently serving as a consultant for Literacy Tree, Robin supports outreach and the development of school partnerships. Previous roles include director positions at Center City Public Charter Schools where significant contributions were made to policy, compliance, and talent management, and director roles at the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, focusing on teacher effectiveness under federal grants. Earlier experience includes work as an associate director at the Center for American Progress, independent consultant, and educator within the District of Columbia Public Schools. Robin Chait holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from American University and a Master of Public Policy from the Georgetown Public Policy Institute, complemented by a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
