Fred Serna

Fred Serna is an experienced professional with a strong background in sales and account management roles within the telecommunications industry. Fred currently serves as the VP of CNS Carrier Sales at Westell, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to their current role, Fred was the Sr. Director of Strategic Account at Amphenol Network Solutions from May 2016 to July 2021. Fred also held the position of AVP Outside Plant Sales at Westell from March 2015 to May 2016. Earlier in their career, Fred served as the Regional Vice President of Sales at Telect from December 2008 to February 2015. Fred has also worked as an Account Director at Ciena from 2000 to 2008, Catena Networks from 2000 to 2006, and Alcatel from June 1990 to June 2000. Fred began their sales career at DSC Communications in 1996 and also had a brief sales role at NEC in 1996-1997.

Fred Serna earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University. Fred attended the university from 1984 to 1989.
