Ciro Blazevic

Ciro Blazevic has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Ciro started their career at Adriatic BB in 2005 as an Electronics Engineer, where they were responsible for designing and commissioning fire detection systems, as well as designing and testing DC/AC power inverters for solar systems. Ciro also gained experience in schematic and PCB design using Eagle Cadsoft.

In 2010, Ciro joined the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Naval Architecture as an R&D Engineer. During this time, they focused on the development of electrical machine drives for crane applications in collaboration with ABB Crane Systems. Ciro also worked on evaluating the load capability of frequency-controlled drives.

In 2013, Ciro joined ABB, where they served as an R&D Engineer. Here, they contributed to the development of low voltage AC drives for industrial crane applications, specifically the MoCon Robust® family of drives designed to withstand harsh environments. Ciro was responsible for schematic design for various electronic boards used in AC drives.

Currently, Ciro is employed at Westermo Network Technologies, starting in 2016. Ciro initially held the role of HW Engineer, where they led hardware design for several Ethernet communication products. Their responsibilities included schematic design, support for PCB layout design using Mentor Xpedition Enterprise, and conducting power integrity and signal integrity simulations using Mentor HyperLynx. Ciro then transitioned into the role of PCB Layout Engineer, where they continue to contribute to the development of Westermo's products.

Ciro Blazevic completed their Master's Degree in Automation and Systems at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Naval Architecture from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, in March 2023, they obtained a certification in IPC-CID (Certified Interconnect Designer - Basic) from IPC.
