Erik Danielsson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. From 1995 to 2013, Erik worked at ABB Control Technologies, starting as a Pre-Sales Manager and R&D Manager before becoming a Director of Product Line Management for the Process Automation Distributed Control Systems portfolio. Erik then moved up to become the Group Vice President of Industry Segments. In 2013, Erik joined Westermo as the Vice President of Train Networks, responsible for the global product supply of data Communication Equipment to the rolling stock industry. In 2015, they took on the role of Vice President of Global Industries, where they were the Business Unit Manager for Train, Trackside, and Process Automation Networks. Currently, Erik holds the position of Vice President of Sales at Westermo.

Erik Danielsson attended Handelshögskolan i Stockholm from 1992 to 1998, where they obtained a Master of Science in Business Administration and Economics with a focus on Managerial Economics and Control. Prior to that, they studied at Kungliga tekniska högskolan from 1990 to 1995, earning a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. Their field of study at Kungliga tekniska högskolan included Electromagnetic Theory, Control Theory and Practice, as well as Industrial Control Systems.
