Celeste Wallander

Celeste Wallander is the Executive Director at Penn Washington and currently serves as a Professor at both Harvard University and Georgetown University. Additionally, they hold senior researcher positions at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Center for a New American Security, and the Council on Foreign Relations, as well as serving as a Visiting Scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Previously, they were the President of the U.S.-Russia Foundation from 2017 to 2022 and a Special Assistant to the President at the National Security Council from 2013 to 2017. Celeste holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and several advanced degrees from Yale University.
