Brian Long

Brian Long has over two decades of experience in the technical training and engineering fields. Currently serving as Principal Technical Training Instructor/Manager at Westinghouse Electric Company since February 2010, Brian is responsible for training Start-up Test Engineers in the pre-operational and start-up testing of AP1000 reactor plants. Prior to this role, Brian spent nearly a decade in the US Navy, where responsibilities included training military personnel in electricity and nuclear operations and supervising reactor operations on nuclear submarines. Earlier career experience at Ritron Inc. involved engineering design and testing procedures for communication equipment. Brian holds a BAS degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute.
