David Helms

David Helms currently serves as Resource Manager and Principal Field Service Engineer for BWR Services at Westinghouse Electric Company, with tenure beginning in February 2012. Previously, David held the role of BWR Lead Refuel Floor Technical Director and Training Instructor at Westinghouse Electric Co. / PEM, contributing to the creation of training manuals and instructing courses at the Chattanooga BWR Training Center. Prior experience includes working as a Representative and Technician for the Ralph Hiller Company, managing actuator rebuilds at the Lungman Nuclear Plant in Taiwan, and owning Surfboard House Taiwan, focusing on sales and distribution of surfboards. David's extensive background in nuclear services includes roles at GE Power & Water, with responsibilities in non-destructive examination and reactor service, alongside prior mechanical work at Southwest Research Institute.
