David Parente

David Parente, PE, has extensive experience in civil and structural engineering, primarily in the nuclear construction sector. Since joining Westinghouse Electric Company in October 2009, David has held multiple leadership roles, including Construction Manager, Major Projects Engineering Manager, and Civil Structural Engineer, contributing significantly to the VC Summer Units 2 & 3 New Nuclear Construction Project. Prior to Westinghouse, David served as a Project Engineer at Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc. and as a Geotechnical/Structural Field Engineer at Schnabel Engineering. David began the engineering career at General Cable Corporation as a Process Engineer. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Penn State University.
