John O'Connor

John O'Connor, P. Eng. is currently the Engineering Services Manager for Balance of Plant at Westinghouse Electric Company. They previously held various engineering and management roles at Ontario Power Generation, including Manager of Maintenance Reactor Fuelling and Section Manager of Maintenance at Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. With a foundational background from the Canadian Forces as a Naval Officer and Department Head, John has extensive experience in marine and nuclear engineering, having also worked with AECL and Aecon Group Inc. They earned their Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University and completed a Marine Engineering Officer Qualification at the Royal Naval Engineering College.
