Larry Schmidt

Larry Schmidt has extensive experience in engineering and management within the manufacturing sector, particularly in specialized equipment for various industries. Since June 2009, Larry has served as Manager of Special Projects for Fuel Handling Equipment at Westinghouse Electric Company, focusing on equipment for the commercial nuclear power industry. Prior to this role, Larry held the position of Engineering Manager at Sermac America, Inc. from January 2006 to June 2009, where responsibilities included overseeing operations in truck-mounted concrete boom pump manufacturing, and served as President & CEO. Larry's background also includes serving as Director of Engineering and Quality at Veeco from 2000 to 2005, managing multi-site operations for semiconductor and data storage processing equipment. Earlier experience at Schwing America from 1988 to 2000 involved roles as General Manager, Engineering Manager, and Vice President of Engineering, where the focus was on concrete construction and material handling equipment. Larry Schmidt holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Dakota State University.
