Michael Cartwright

Michael Cartwright serves as the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Engineering Programs at Westinghouse Electric Company since August 2025, bringing extensive experience in advanced nuclear technologies from previous roles at Frazer-Nash Consultancy as a Managing Consultant and Senior Consultant. Prior to that, Michael held the position of Senior Technical Lead at AMRC and worked at Rolls-Royce for over five years as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in various capacities, contributing to factory design and new product introduction projects. Earlier career experiences include roles at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK as an Assembly Engineer, and a six-year tenure in the Royal Navy as a Petty Officer in Weapons Engineering. Michael's technical background began with a Foundation degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Portsmouth and a Higher National Diploma in Business and Finance from Sheffield Hallam University.
