Greg Howard

Greg Howard is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as a First Officer with WestJet since October 2023, specializing in the Boeing 737 and involved in ALPA Volunteer Pilot Peer Support. Howard has also worked as a Contract Pilot for Telus Flight Operations since October 2021 and previously served as a First Officer at Swoop, where responsibilities included operating domestic and international flights and representing the flight operations group in occupational health and safety. Prior achievements include roles as an Aviation Consultant and training Captain at Oceanside Air Limited and extensive experience in emergency services as a Firefighter for the City of Nanaimo and a Paramedic for British Columbia Ambulance Service. Earlier in the career, Howard co-owned a photography business and held a Captain position at Pacific Coastal Airlines, commanding various aircraft. Currently pursuing education at Vancouver Island University, Greg Howard demonstrates a diverse background in aviation, emergency services, and business.
