Lisa Zelev has extensive experience in aviation safety and investigations, currently serving as the Head of Group Audit, Investigations & Safety Data at WestJet since May 2013. Previously, Lisa held positions at Jazz Aviation as a Safety Investigator from January 2008 to May 2013, where responsibilities included conducting safety investigations and preparing technical reports. Earlier career roles include Quality Assurance, Safety Management System Specialist, and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Avmax Aviation Services from 2004 to 2008, as well as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Sunwest Aviation from 2001 to 2004. Lisa holds an AMET degree in Aviation from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and has additional education from the University of Southern California.
