Mark Sheppard has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as the Person Responsible for the Maintenance Control System (PRMCS) alternate and as the Ministers Delegate-Maintenance for WestJet since June 2011. Responsibilities include acting on behalf of Transport Canada for aircraft operations involving Boeing 737NG/BCF, MAX, and 787 models. Previously, Mark held positions as Manager-Airworthiness, overseeing the Technical Records, Airvault, and Receiving Inspection departments, and as an Airworthiness Specialist, providing support for airworthiness issues and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards. Prior to WestJet, Mark worked as an AME at Skyservice Airlines and as a Base Engineer at Canada 3000, with foundational education from the College of the North Atlantic.
