Serene Chan

Serene Chan, OCT, is an experienced flight attendant at WestJet since October 2016 and has been an Ontario Certified Teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers since September 2014. In addition to her teaching roles, which include positions as an occasional teacher and a teacher candidate with the Toronto District School Board, Serene volunteers with World Vision and the Ontario Volleyball Association. Previous experience includes a Special Projects Assistant role at Ophea, where Serene contributed to the development of Health and Physical Education resources. Educational qualifications include multiple additional qualifications in science, technology, mathematics, and various teaching divisions from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education and the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University in Sociology and Psychology.
