Daniel Vester has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies and roles. Daniel started their career as an Apprentice for Merchant of Banking at WestLB in 2003. Daniel then worked as an Intern at Wickeder Steel Company before joining WestLB Mellon Asset Management as a Working Student. In 2008, they became a Working Student at rhenag Rheinische Energie AG.
In 2011, Daniel transitioned to RWE Consulting, where they held roles as a Consultant and later as a Senior Consultant. In 2015, they joined RWE Deutschland AG as a Referent for Process and Project Management.
Daniel's career continued to progress, as they became part of Westnetz GmbH in 2016. There, they held various positions including Referent for Process Management, Teamlead Process Optimization, and Head of Process Optimization. Daniel also served as the Head of Primary Assets Operations and Head of Project Organization Grid Services. In 2020, Daniel moved to Westenergie, taking on the role of Head of Digitalization.
Throughout their career, Daniel has developed expertise in process optimization, project management, and digitalization.
Daniel Vester completed their education at the University of Cologne from 2005 to 2011, where they obtained a Diplom in Business Administration. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained certifications in various subjects. In December 2017, they became a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance. Furthermore, in November 2022, they completed the course "Transformational Technologies: Applied Lessons from Sports" offered by MIT xPRO.
