Declan S.

Declan S. is a passionate cyber security expert currently working as a security consultant for the Secure by Design process at Westpac. They have successfully aided over 100 projects by assessing security requirements and ensuring compliance with auditable standards. Prior to their current role, Declan completed two years of cybersecurity roles as a Westpac Grad, rotating through different teams and gaining valuable experience in various aspects of information security. A 2019 graduate of the Bachelor of IT Cooperative Scholarship at UTS, Declan also completed internships at ASX and Coca-Cola Amatil, where they contributed to business process optimization and data analysis. In addition to their professional endeavors, they have been actively involved in debating, earning life membership at UTS Debating and representing the university at multiple championships.
