Ian Evans

Ian Evans is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience spanning over 17 years. Currently serving as Principal Security Architect at Westpac since May 2022, Ian previously held the position of Senior Security Architect within the same organization. Ian has also worked as a Security Architect at ANZ and Commonwealth Bank, and as Director at iDefence Pty Ltd since November 2004. Additional roles include Security Architect at Westpac and CBA, and Senior Consultant at Dimension Data. Ian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
