Ken Schaefer

Ken Schaefer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of Identity and Access Management (IAM). Currently serving as the IAM Strategy Lead and Principal Consultant at Westpac since February 2013, Ken drives the IAM strategy for the Westpac Group. Previously, Ken held various roles at Westpac, including Enterprise Security Architect focused on IAM transformation and Manager of IAM Architecture. Prior to Westpac, Ken worked at Hewlett-Packard as a Senior Architect on the T602 SOE program and held positions at Avanade as a Lead Infrastructure Consultant and at UNSW as a Systems Administrator. Ken's educational background includes a Master's degree in Business and Technology from UNSW, along with incomplete studies in Commerce and Law.
