Matt Leonard

Matt Leonard currently serves as the Head of Fraud & Scams Portfolio at Westpac since June 2022 and previously held various roles at Westpac Group from April 2015 to June 2022, including Portfolio Director for Tech Modernisation and Cybersecurity Incubation Program Manager. As Cybersecurity Incubation Program Manager, Matt Leonard successfully translated enterprise cybersecurity strategy into a coherent delivery program portfolio, enhancing cyber capabilities and ensuring regulatory compliance. Prior to these senior positions, Matt Leonard gained extensive experience in technology services management across multiple facets of business and IT, having worked as Technology Services Manager and Head of Database Services. Matt Leonard's earlier career includes roles at notable organizations such as Fuji Xerox, ORION Fund Services, Deutsche Bank, and Bankers Trust, building a solid foundation in information technology and project management. Matt Leonard holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney.
