Matus Vell is a Chartered Accountant and a seasoned expert in Financial Crime Operations and Compliance with extensive experience in the finance sector. Currently serving as the Senior Manager for AML/CTF Reform at Westpac, Matus leads initiatives to enhance compliance with regulatory amendments while maintaining operational efficiency. Previously, they held strategic roles at ING, Swiss Re, and Fonterra Co-operative Group, where they successfully managed financial operations and led significant transformation projects.
