Michael Yin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and architecture. From June 2015 to August 2018, Michael served as Cyber Security Manager and later as Executive Manager of Security Architecture & Design at Commonwealth Bank. Prior to that, Michael worked as Consulting Manager at Accenture from January 2009 to June 2015. Currently, since May 2022, Michael holds the position of Principal Architect at Westpac. Michael earned a Master of Engineering Science in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of New South Wales between 2007 and 2008 and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Auckland from 2002 to 2005.
